Job summary

LEHR, a premier provider of mission-critical vehicle upfitting, seeks a detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Specialist in Reno, NV. You will source parts, manage POs, track deliveries, and improve SOPs to support builds and daily ops.

The role requires strong vendor management, organization, and communication skills, with experience in Dynamics 365 BC and Power BI being a plus. Monday–Friday schedule; full-time benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, purchasing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain is required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and vendor relationship management abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and follow up on outstanding items.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and material requirements to ensure availability.
• Identify, source, and procure parts and materials for builds.
• Liaise with vendors on quotations, prices, lead times, and delivery.
• Manage end-to-end purchasing process from sourcing to PO placement and tracking.
• Create and maintain purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries.
• Develop and improve SOPs to standardize purchasing processes.
• Prioritize multiple POs, suppliers, and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Communicate expected delivery dates and changes to internal teams.
• Coordinate shipments and logistics to meet timelines.
• Investigate and resolve supplier, pricing, or order discrepancies.
• Maintain purchasing data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC for accuracy.
• Coordinate price updates with vendors and reflect changes in ERP.
