Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 1-5 years of equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRP a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong EXCEL skills.
• Data analysis experience.
• Operate as a collaborative team member and function with minimum supervision.
• Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail and prioritize/manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 35lbs or more regularly.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and purchasing of materials and supplies.
• Ensure timely procurement for production operations.
• Communicate with receiving team regarding material arrivals.
• Establish specifications and procurement needs with management.
• Select vendors based on price, quality, and availability.
• Execute requests while maintaining quality and customer service standards.
• Monitor pricing and ordering records.
• Control MOQ, freight and handling costs.
• Report material variances to standard cost.
• Prepare reports and recommendations.
• Assist in departmental duties as required.
