Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Buyer/Planner in Henderson, NV to ensure timely materials for production, manage inventory levels, and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers. You will build strong vendor relationships and maintain accurate records to control costs and support on-time delivery.

The role requires 2+ years in purchasing or supply chain, experience with ERP systems and Excel, and comfort working in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in purchasing, planning, or supply chain.
• Comfortable negotiating pricing and terms.
• ERP/ERP-like systems experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Buy materials to ensure timely production and create/update purchase orders.
• Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
• Collaborate with suppliers on pricing, timelines, and order specifics.
• Resolve issues such as delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate systems with updated pricing and order information.
• Track costs to help manage spending and identify new vendors.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers to improve cost and lead times.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and pricing.
