Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Production Planner in Reno, Nevada to coordinate production schedules and align with manufacturing, purchasing, and sales teams. You will balance demand, capacity, and inventory to meet customer commitments in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and accurate planning data, with a focus on on-time delivery and operating within ISO and ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of supply chain experience, preferably in production planning or scheduling.
Knowledge of DDMRP.
Experience with ERP materials management and production planning systems.

Responsibilities

Create and release work orders based on MRP demand, customer orders, and forecast requirements.
Provide accurate ship date information and scheduling feedback to Sales and Customer Service teams.
Develop work orders for production, SKU conversions, and rework activities.
Monitor production order progress and adjust schedules to meet delivery commitments.
Expedite critical orders across the supply chain.
