Job summary

DynaFire LLC in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator who will manage requisitions, purchase orders, and inventory across the warehouse and storage spaces. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and clear communication with vendors and internal teams.

You will coordinate stock control, processing receipts, and reporting while supporting layout planning, space utilization, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, inventory, warehouse and/or operations preferred.
• Ability to lift and move objects as required.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication skills, in person and on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders from requisitions and send to vendors.
• Verify receipt of goods and process receiving documents.
• Maintain inventory and warehouse space.
• Research variances between invoices and purchase orders.
• Enter inventory data into software for reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate reporting and internal controls.
• Manage stock and assist in physical inventory counts.
• Coordinate dispatch, delivery and receipt of equipment and materials.
• Prepare returned materials authorizations (RMA) for defective equipment.
• Assist in creating inventory control documents and procedures.
• Plan space usage and stacking layouts for arrivals.
• Assist in layout design to optimize space.
• Monitor quantity and quality of stored materials.
• Liaise with employees, suppliers and transport companies.
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and security standards.
• Receive RFEs and place orders after confirmation of billing (installation coordinator only).
• Track order status for PMs; stage and label jobs (installation coordinator only).
