Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC is recruiting a Purchasing Coordinator to support the procurement process, manage supplier relations, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services in Puerto Rico and the USA. You will process POs, monitor stock, and collaborate with warehouse and internal teams to optimize costs and maintain records.

The role requires a bachelor’s in business/SCM (preferred), 2+ years in purchasing, and proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement by purchasing goods and services and ensuring timely delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers, monitor inventory, and coordinate with internal teams.
• Assist Purchasing Manager with strategies and cost optimization.
• Process and manage purchase orders (POs) aligned with business needs.
• Track order status and resolve delays; monitor inventory to avoid overstock.
• Collaborate with warehouse to manage stock and proper receiving/storage.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies.
• Maintain records of purchasing activities, supplier agreements, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, costs, and supplier performance.
