Job summary

EarthCam is seeking a detail oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support day-to-day procurement operations on-site in New Jersey. You will partner with internal teams and external vendors to source materials, process requisitions, and manage purchase orders while negotiating favorable terms.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in procurement or supply chain, experience with electronics or consumer products, and strong vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Experience with electronics, electrical components, or consumer products preferred.
• Vendor sourcing, pricing negotiation, and purchase order management experience.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Inventory for stock purchasing requirements.
• Review and process material requisitions and supplier quotes.
• Evaluate supply chain availability and pricing to determine optimal approach.
• Create purchase orders and distribute to vendors upon authorization.
• Communicate with vendors and internal customers via phone and email.
• Administer subcontractor processes and bid work.
• Negotiate contract rates for external services and materials.
• Contract 3rd party technicians and equipment for installations and services.
• Control delivery of items for construction site installations.
• Negotiate national deals for purchased products and services.
• Prepare and manage PO documentation for 3rd party vendors.
• Coordinate PO receipt and invoice application in MYISIS and SAGE PO.
• Support supervisor with ad hoc assignments.
