Job summary

Allient Milwaukee | TCI is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to enter and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system, while expediting materials to prevent production delays. You will monitor supplier performance for delivery, quality, and cost, and assist in updating KPI records for key suppliers.

Responsibilities include managing daily PO activity, maintaining intercompany orders, and collaborating with sales to drop ship and support production.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education with at least two years of Purchasing/Production control experience.
• Experience using MRP systems; Epicor preferred.
• Strong math and data accuracy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple supplier relationships and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system and place production material orders.
• Expedite supplier deliveries to avoid production interruptions.
• Monitor supplier performance on delivery, quality, and cost.
• Update KPI records for key suppliers and communicate changes to teams.
• Maintain intercompany orders to support production and sales.
• Collaborate with inside sales to drop ship and handle intercompany orders.
• Provide pricing, delivery date validation, and issue resolution on POs.
• Participate in supplier sourcing and vendor performance evaluation.
