Job summary

Allient Milwaukee | TCI is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to enter and maintain purchase orders in our ERP system, and to place production material orders with suppliers while expediting as needed to avoid stockouts.

You will monitor supplier performance on delivery, quality, and cost, support KPI tracking, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, delivery dates, and data integrity. This role requires clear communication and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education with at least two years of experience in Purchasing, Production Control or related roles.
• Experience buying power electronic devices, PCBA’s and components preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system and place production material orders with suppliers.
• Expedite supplier deliveries to avoid production interruptions.
• Monitor supplier performance on delivery, quality and cost; update KPI records.
• Maintain and reconcile open purchase orders and adjust delivery dates as needed.
• Support intercompany supplier relationships and drop-ship activities where applicable.
• Participate in supplier sourcing and qualification as required.
• Attend daily Production meetings as a purchasing representative if needed.
