Qualifikationen

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, filters, lookups, and data analysis.
• Experience working in manufacturing, steel fabrication, or construction-related environment preferred.

Aufgaben

• Review reports to support purchasing activities.
• Gather material requirements from Detailing, Engineering, Sales, and Production.
• Create and manage purchase orders for steel, components, shop supplies, and other materials.
• Follow up with suppliers to monitor order status and on-time delivery.
• Obtain supplier quotations and assist with pricing for estimating and planning.
• Maintain supplier relationships and coordinate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Sales, Engineering, and Estimating to ensure materials availability.
• Maintain item records, vendor information, and purchasing documentation in the ERP.
• Prepare purchasing, inventory, usage, and open-order reports.
• Keep records related to purchasing activities and supplier information.
• Assist with material purchases planning and inventory replenishment.
• Track material pricing and update purchasing information.
