Job summary

This position oversees bid activities, staff supervision, and monthly reporting to the College Board. It requires a degree in business/accounting and 3–5 years of purchasing experience, with Workday knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or related field.
• 3 years of purchasing experience or 3–5 years progressively responsible experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective purchasing and accounting controls per college policies.
• Assess purchasing operations to improve efficiency within the department.
• Coordinate purchasing activities and support end users using Workday.
• Oversee bid processes by writing specifications and managing quotes.
• Manage daily operations and supervise the purchasing staff.
• Prepare monthly purchase reports for Board review and approval.
• Purchase capital equipment and furniture as recommended.
• Review Workday updates and train end users.
