Job summary

Agupdate is seeking a Purchasing Agent to support the college’s purchasing of supplies, materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal procedures. The role acts as liaison with the Division of Purchase and Contract and other oversight bodies.

The incumbent will manage procurement, verify requisitions, process purchase orders, and assist with travel and invoicing while maintaining vendor catalogs and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Three years of purchasing, record keeping, or inventory experience.
• Familiarity with state purchasing regulations and procedures.
• Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
