Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3–5 years in purchasing and accounting
• Experience in educational settings is preferred
• Experience with government/public sector accounting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities and ensure compliance with policies and budgets
• Manage competitive procurement including RFPs, quotations, vendor selection, and contract docs
• Maintain vendor database and ensure required documentation is complete
• Prepare and post journal entries, budget transfers, accruals for month-end close
• Perform account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and data integrity checks
• Coordinate with financial aid/finance for audit workpapers and year-end close
