Job summary

Lennar is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator in Bluffton to support the Purchasing Manager and team. You will manage multiple administrative tasks, assist in bidding, interface with accounting for subcontractor payments, and coordinate vendor setup across communities.

The role requires good judgment, organizational skills, and a professional, team-oriented attitude to keep projects on schedule and on budget.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
• At least 2 years of office or administrative experience.
• Proficient with computers and JD Edwards, AutoCAD, Buzzsaw, BuildPro/SupplyPro, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Track subcontractor/supplier insurance using the IDS database.
• Distribute new vendor/subcontractor packages.
• Perform filing, copying, and other administrative tasks within the department.
• Assist Purchasing with bidding for new projects.
• Interface with Accounting to ensure timely payment for subcontractors.
• Input, print, and fax information to trades using JD Edwards.
• Order appliances for each community.
• Prepare bidding packages and set up new vendors for new communities.
• Prepare weekly production reports, community books and product cut-sheets.
• Assist in field operations administration.
• Prepare correspondence for other departments and homeowners.
