Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to learn LOC operating systems, maintain take-off information, manage options, monitor lot budgeting, and support division partners.

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with deadlines; the successful candidate will develop trusted relationships with division leaders and contribute to cost control and supplier pricing.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literate with efficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• JD Edwards experience preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Professionally perform multiple, detail oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
• Be a team player with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and maintain plan take-off information, including complete entry for new and revised plans.
• Set-up and maintain option take-offs for all plans/communities within their division(s) of responsibility.
• Monitor home site (lot) budgeting in compliance with projected start dates.
• Reviewing preliminary lot starts prior to finalizing.
• Interact with estimating and division purchasing to resolve any issues.
• Generate and maintain supplier/trade partner item pricing by utilizing the upload/download process.
• Update purchase orders as directed by division partners to maintain current cost, quantities or Trade Partners.
• Respond to varying workload and pace as defined by the business needs.
• Process Z- Report tickets.
• Process AV report tickets.
• Process PO deletion tickets.
