Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to learn and support LOC operations, build trusted relationships with division leaders, and contribute to a high-performance culture that emphasizes quality and strong division support.

The role focuses on setting up plan and option take-offs, monitoring lot budgets, and coordinating with estimating and division purchasing to resolve issues, while handling vendor pricing and purchase orders under guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• JD Edwards experience preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform multiple, detail-oriented tasks with deadlines.
• Demonstrates work ethic, integrity, and loyalty.
• Team player with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and maintain plan take-off information, including complete entry for new and revised plans.
• Set-up and maintain option take-offs for all plans/communities within their division(s) of responsibility.
• Monitor home site (lot) budgeting in compliance with projected start dates.
• Review preliminary lot starts prior to finalizing.
• Interact with estimating and division purchasing to resolve any issues.
• Generate and maintain supplier/trade partner item pricing by utilizing the upload/download process.
• Update purchase orders as directed by division partners to maintain current cost, quantities or Trade Partners.
• Respond to varying workload and pace as defined by the business needs.
• Process Z- Report tickets.
• Process AV report tickets.
• Process PO deletion tickets.
