Focus People is seeking an experienced Purchasing & Procurement Supervisor to oversee purchasing, lead procurement staff, and manage vendor relationships, contracts, and competitive solicitations.

The role develops purchasing strategies to meet operational needs, control costs, and ensure compliance with procurement requirements. GA location preferred with salary range $65k–$70k annually.

Formación

• Associate or technical diploma with procurement experience and some supervisory exposure.
• Experience leading or coordinating procurement activities is preferred.
• Two years in procurement or related role is acceptable under seniority.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise procurement staff, set performance goals and provide training.
• Oversee purchasing activities, supplier management and card program admin.
• Coordinate contract development, negotiation, administration and renewals.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with terms.
• Lead competitive solicitations (RFQs, ITBs, RFPs).
• Coordinate development, solicitation and award of contracts.
• Act as primary vendor contact and manage questions or protests.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address purchasing needs and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
• Maintain current procurement knowledge and SME status.

Associate degree in accounting or business

Procurement Agent 3 or equivalent experience (2+ years)
