Job summary

The Children's Clinic, Inc. seeks a Purchasing and Accounting Coordinator to oversee purchasing, accounts payable, and vendor relations.

You will be the primary contact for vendors and staff on invoices, payment timing, terms, and discounts, ensuring adherence to clinic policies and funding rules in Portland, Oregon. Responsibilities include recording invoices to the general ledger, maintaining vendor master data, month-end entries and reconciliations, and processing payroll and physician

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in accounting/finance or related field.
• Experience in accounts payable and vendor management is required.
• Knowledge of GAAP and healthcare financial practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison for vendor inquiries on invoices, payments, and terms.
• Process full-cycle AP: coding, PO matching, approvals, and payments.
• Verify due dates and early payment discounts to optimize savings.
• Review vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor master data; manage 1099 reporting.
• Process payroll and physician withdrawals; handle payroll changes.
• Record invoices in the general ledger and perform month-end entries.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain inventory-related records.
• Coordinate pricing reviews and bid processes with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with IRS and payroll regulations.
