Job summary

Pacific Clinics is seeking a procurement professional to manage sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, and contract negotiations. The role collaborates with multiple departments to define needs, conduct market research, and obtain competitive bids.

It oversees supplier relationships and ensures timely delivery while driving cost savings and compliance with policies and regulations. The position emphasizes budget monitoring, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination with finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 6+ years in procurement
• Experience with sourcing, vendor negotiations, and purchase order management
• Familiarity with procurement policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• CPP or CPSM certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinates procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Works with internal departments to identify procurement needs and product/service specifications.
• Solicits bids, evaluates quotes, and assists in negotiating pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
• Maintains positive supplier relationships and monitors vendor performance.
• Tracks purchase orders, delivery schedules, and ensures timely receipt of goods and services.
• Maintains procurement documentation and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
• Monitors procurement budgets and tracks spending against allocated funds.
• Assists in analyzing procurement data and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Supports continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.
• Coordinates with Finance and Accounts Payable for reconciliation and payment processing.
