Job summary

Facility Construction and Maintenance in Tallahassee seeks a Government Operations Consultant III to oversee financial operations within the Florida Department of Corrections' Facilities Management division. The role involves monitoring costs for construction and maintenance, and administering statewide databases and systems.

The position also acts as the Division's Statewide Secondary Accountholder for purchasing cards, supporting the department's mission to maintain safe, secure, and efficient

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in accounting, finance, budget, public administration or communications.
• Experience with State of Florida Financial Programs (MFMP).
• Experience in construction and/or maintenance cost accounting.
• Experience preparing financial management reports and account reconciliation.
• FCCM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial operations for the Facilities Management division.
• Monitor construction and maintenance costs across programs.
• Administer statewide databases and systems.
• Serve as the Division's Statewide Secondary Accountholder for purchasing cards.
