Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Client Executive to lead SLED sales across Southern California. You will drive engagement with county/city CIOs, CISOs, university IT leaders, and other senior stakeholders, shaping enterprise-wide Cloudflare adoptions.

You will forecast, manage complex procurement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient cloud solutions for public sector institutions across SoCal. Travel is required.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience selling complex technology solutions into the SLED market.
Strong Southern California territory expertise and network across county/city IT leadership and universities.
Familiarity with public procurement protocols (OMNIA, Sourcewell, RFP processes).
Mastery of Cloudflare product suite (Zero Trust, SASE, App Security, WAAP) and mapping to public sector needs.
Proven ability to engage and influence at the highest executive levels (CIOs, CISOs, CFOs).
Bachelor's degree required; MBA/MPA or advanced degree highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Architect and execute regional revenue strategies to exceed multi-million dollar targets in the SoCal territory.
Align enterprise architectures with local government and higher education needs, ensuring secure, resilient cloud adoption.
Engage senior public sector stakeholders across counties, cities, and universities to drive enterprise platform sales.
Forecast accurately and manage a strategic pipeline aligned to municipal and university funding cycles.
Translate Cloudflare’s security and performance suite to regulatory and risk-management contexts for the public sector.
