Job summary

The PBS Foundation seeks a Prospect Research and Development Manager to provide research on donors and prospective donors and to perform data analysis that informs donor cultivation strategies.

The role oversees a portfolio of research and prospect management projects to support the identification, qualification, cultivation, and solicitation of donors for PBS and its member stations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nonprofit development or education fundraising.
• Experience in prospect research and writing for leadership audiences.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Research donors and prospects, including capacity and philanthropic interests.
• Synthesize data into concise briefings, profiles, and bios.
• Identify new prospects from outside the donor pool and analyze wealth data.
• Provide CRM reports and support moves management and strategy meetings.
