Job summary

WTTW and WFMT in Chicago seek a Development Project Manager, Research and Major Gifts to identify prospective donors and build the pipeline for both stations. The role will synthesize information to create briefings, prepare prospect profiles, and support a comprehensive fundraising strategy.

You will plan weekly prospect reviews, coordinate events, and assist with solicitation letters and stewardship mailings while maintaining data integrity in Tessitura and related systems.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of office experience, preferably on a development/fundraising team.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Executive support experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective donors and identify new prospects for restricted support projects.
• Develop and maintain prospect lists in Tessitura; assign plans and activities.
• Prepare detailed notes on guests prior to events for leadership.
• Plan and lead weekly prospect review meetings and agenda planning.
• Support major donor annual fund solicitations, acknowledgments, and stewardship mailings.
• Collaborate on CRM best practices and improve processes with the Development Ops team.
• Staff donor events and maintain data hygiene in the donor database.
