Job summary

PBS Foundation is seeking a Manager, Donor Experience to lead the end-to-end donor journey, crafting meaningful connections between PBS and its supporters. You will bridge fundraising, marketing, programs, and donor services to deliver an exceptional donor experience.

You will develop stewardship programs, coordinate events, and analyze donor data to improve engagement and lifetime giving while collaborating across teams to ensure donor messages align with PBS goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, customer experience, or nonprofit development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Donor Stewardship & Engagement: develop opportunities for donors to connect with PBS leadership and talent; inform donors about PBS work; design experiences around programs and services; create donor engagement events and tours.
• Donor Journey Management: map and optimize the donor lifecycle; identify ways to improve satisfaction and retention; monitor donor touchpoints for a seamless experience.
• Communications: collaborate to develop donor-centered communications; produce impact reports, newsletters, and stewardship materials; ensure messaging reflects donor interests.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: track engagement, retention, and satisfaction; analyze donor behavior and recommend improvements; maintain donor records and stewardship plans in the CRM.
