Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a senior professional to partner with business development and operations staff to create proposals for new potential work to be performed by the Pharma and Diagnostic solutions team.

The role includes leading solution development, creating financial models, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to secure approvals, with office-based work and periodic travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in laboratory/biopharma/diagnostic client-facing roles.
• Experience in proposals and business development.
• Ability to create financial models and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client, BD, and operations team to create proposals to support new projects.
• Create new processes and practices to optimize and grow the biopharma and diagnostic services division.
• Create financial models for considered work and partner with finance to gain approvals.
• Lead solution development for potential work, including scheduling meetings with internal stakeholders and obtaining approvals.
• Prepare and produce relevant business proposal reports to understand and project future work volumes.
• Identify insights into internal workflows and sponsor-requested work to optimize contemplated work.
• May lead client governance interactions for select clients.
