Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a senior business development professional to partner with clients, BD and operations to craft proposals for new projects within the Pharma and Diagnostic Solutions team.

The role involves building processes to grow the biopharma and diagnostic services division, developing financial models, and leading solution development with internal stakeholders. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in laboratory, biopharma, and/or diagnostic industry in a client facing operational or sales role.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role in a contract research organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client, BD, and operations team to create proposals to support new projects.
• Create new processes and practices to optimize and grow the biopharma and diagnostic services division.
• Create financial models for considered work and partner with finance to gain approvals.
• Lead solution development for potential work including scheduling meetings with internal stakeholders and securing approvals/disapprovals.
• Prepare and produce relevant business proposal reports to understand and project future work volumes.
• Identify insights into internal workflows and sponsor requested work to optimize the contemplated work.
• May lead client governance interactions for select clients.
