Job summary

Serán BioScience is seeking a Proposal Manager to oversee the business development proposal process, ensuring high-quality proposals. You will draft client proposals, support project management and technical leadership, and participate in client calls to define needs and shape solutions.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams, maintaining proposal templates, and contributing to cost templates to win new business. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences or engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a technical pharmaceutical development role.

Responsibilities

• Manages the proposal pipeline and process for new customers and projects.
• Generates and prices proposals in collaboration with project management, technical, and business teams.
• Translates customer needs into project scope, timelines, and pricing with internal stakeholders.
• Ensures proposal accuracy, quality, and consistency with customer needs.
• Provides technical expertise for customer discussions on new business.
• Coordinates with scheduling teams to meet client timelines.
• Improves proposal quality with business and technical leadership.
• Supports field BD as a consultant to help customers select appropriate services.
• Assists Sales and PM in winning new business.
• Maintains up-to-date proposal templates and boilerplate language.
• Contributes to costing templates and cross-functional RFIs/RFPs.
