Job summary

ABM Industries Inc. is seeking a Proposal Specialist for the Deal Desk, responsible for planning, developing, and delivering bids, RFP responses, and presentations to a diverse client base including aviation, education, healthcare, and government.

You will coordinate with subject matter experts and executives to craft compelling proposals, manage timelines, and ensure alignment with corporate branding and RFP requirements, while leading cross-functional teams to meet client deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, English, Technical Writing, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales proposal response development and managing multiple projects.
• Skilled in project management, leading meetings, and persuasive writing.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Proofread and edit written documents and provide ideas to enhance bids.
• Research, write, and assemble client proposals, bids, and presentations aligned with RFPs and brand guidelines.
• Lead strategy meetings and act as project manager to meet client deliverables.
• Develop value proposition through client analysis and competitive intelligence.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and executives to identify winning bid strategies.
• Provide content rewrites and updates for the proposal library.
• Handle assigned projects outside proposals, including presenting new tools to internal teams.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
