Job summary

Architects Orange LLP in Orange, CA is seeking a Proposal Lead to drive pursuit strategy and submissions for RFQs, RFPs, design competitions, and interviews. You will partner with project teams, firm leadership, and marketing to craft winning narratives that showcase expertise and differentiate services.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong writing and storytelling skills, plus proven leadership in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, English, architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in proposal management, marketing, or business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal kick-off meetings, strategy sessions, and interview preparation for RFQs, RFPs, and design competitions.
• Develop pursuit strategies, outlines, content plans, schedules, and assignment matrices for efficient execution.
• Coordinate with leadership, design teams, and marketing to align messaging with client goals and expectations.
• Manage pursuit timelines and ensure submissions are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Conduct post-submission debriefs to identify lessons learned and improve win rates.
