AO - Architects Orange in Orange, CA is seeking a Proposal Lead to join our Business Development and Marketing team. You will guide the development, strategy, and delivery of competitive architectural pursuits, including RFQs, RFPs, design competitions, and interview presentations.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong writer, and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, coordinating with project teams, firm leadership, and marketing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Architecture, Business or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in proposal management, marketing, communications, business development, or related functions, preferably within architecture, engineering, construction (AEC).
Demonstrated experience leading complex pursuit efforts and coordinating multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead pursuit strategy for RFQs, RFPs, and design competitions.
Develop pursuit strategies, outlines, content plans, schedules, and assignment matrices.
Coordinate with leadership, design teams, and marketing staff to align messaging and visuals with client goals.
Manage pursuit timelines and ensure on-schedule submissions.
Conduct post-submission and interview debriefs to improve win rates.
