DNOW in Houston is seeking a Proposal Development Specialist to define and deliver strategic solutions that promote the DNOW brand, products, and services. You will create and identify initiatives to drive value within global strategic accounts, develop proactive proposals, respond to RFIs and RFPs, and coordinate timelines, terms, and schedules with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business, or equivalent years of experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize time, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, team-oriented, and proactive.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with oil and gas industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and identify key initiatives for driving greater value within global strategic accounts, to assist with strategic initiatives, and to grow market share by continuously producing both proactive and reactive customer proposals, including responses to RFIs and RFPs
• Direct the implementation of key initiatives and capture knowledge of best practices and successes
• Drive creative solutions using marketing, communications, and sales as strategic tools
• Create customer-specific proactive proposals and responses to RFIs and RFPs
• Develop and distribute appropriate proposal-related documentation, including legal terms & conditions, market baskets, schedules & deadlines, bid requirements, and kick-off presentations
• Responsible for creating strategic growth initiatives and account retention projects
• Create compelling value propositions with current and future customers/accounts
• Assist with new business implementations and case-study development
• Deliver material to assist in the development of new business
• Assist members from Sales, Operations, and Leadership Team on key projects and programs
• Manage best practices
• Other duties, as assigned.
