Job summary

AET Federal Inc. is seeking a Proposal Coordinator/Writer to join our Tysons, VA team. You will manage the full proposal lifecycle, from capture through submissions, drafting technical, management, and corporate content, and coordinating inputs from SMEs to ensure compliant, high-quality responses.

In this fast-paced, small-team environment, you will refine documents, maintain templates, and support bid win strategies while ensuring on-site operations at our Tysons office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• 3+ years of proposal, GovCon, government contracting, or related experience.
• Prior experience writing government proposals, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and refine proposal content, including technical, management, and corporate sections, based on provided guidance and inputs.
• Track proposal schedules, milestones, deadlines, and required deliverables.
• Coordinate inputs from internal contributors and SMEs to support timely and compliant submissions.
• Develop and maintain compliance matrices and checklists to ensure solicitation requirements are met.
• Review proposals for compliance with instructions, page limits, formatting, and submission requirements.
• Maintain organized proposal files, templates, and version control throughout the lifecycle.
• Communicate regularly with leadership regarding proposal status, priorities, and risks.
