Job summary

AET Federal Inc. is seeking a Proposal Coordinator/ Writer to join our team in Tysons, VA. This full-time, on-site role focuses on proposal writing, organization, compliance, and submission support for federal and commercial solicitations.

The position emphasizes drafting and coordinating RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, maintaining templates, and ensuring quality and compliance within a fast-paced, small-team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• 3+ years of proposal, GovCon, government contracting, or related experience.
• Experience writing government proposals (RFI, RFP, RFQ).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with leadership and SMEs.
• Ability to commute and work on-site in Tysons, VA.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and refine proposal content across technical, management, and corporate sections.
• Tailor proposal language to align with solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Ensure clarity, consistency, compliance, accuracy, and a professional tone across all proposal sections.
• Draft all RFI, RFP, and RFQ write-ups from start to submission.
• Coordinate inputs from internal contributors and SMEs to support timely and compliant submissions.
• Develop and maintain compliance matrices and checklists for solicitation requirements.
