Job summary

AET Federal INC in Tysons, VA seeks a Proposal Coordinator/Writer to join a small, fast-paced GovCon team. You will support proposal development for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, focusing on writing, coordination, compliance, and submission.

The role is on-site, full-time, requiring 3+ years of GovCon proposal experience, sharp editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines with SMEs and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 3+ years of proposal writing, GovCon, or related experience.
• Experience with RFI, RFP, and RFQ in government contracting.
• Strong writing and editing, attention to detail.
• Ability to commute and work on-site Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and refine proposal content for technical, management, and corporate sections.
• Tailor language to solicitations and customer priorities.
• Ensure clarity, compliance, and professional tone across sections.
• Draft RFI, RFP, RFQ write-ups from start to submission.
• Incorporate feedback from leadership and SMEs.
• Track proposal schedules, milestones, deadlines, deliverables.
• Maintain compliance matrices, templates, and version control.
• Coordinate inputs from internal contributors and SMEs.
• Perform quality control on grammar, formatting, and completeness.
• Identify gaps and risks to leadership.
• Assist in developing templates and content libraries.
