Job summary

UES is seeking a Proposal Specialist II to lead and craft high-quality proposals and qualification materials in response to client requests (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs). You will own portions of proposal development, ensure clarity, compliance, and brand alignment, and collaborate with the Proposal Manager, BD, and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in proposal writing or coordination within the A/E/C, environmental, engineering, or professional services industries.
• Proven ability to develop persuasive, technically accurate, and well-organized proposal content.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite; CRM/proposal tracking systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex or multi-volume proposals and qualifications packages, coordinating with project teams, SMEs, and the Proposal Manager.
• Write, edit, and refine content across proposal sections, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with win themes.
• Translate technical input into clear content tailored to diverse client audiences.
