Job summary

Syneos Health in North Carolina is seeking a Proposal Analyst to support Business Development by analyzing RFPs, coordinating SME input, and preparing budgets and proposal text responsive to client requirements.

You will manage the end-to-end proposal process, obtain third‑party quotes, align content with client specifications, and work with contracts, finance, and operations to initiate projects, while maintaining proposal tools and delivering timely responses.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business or health-related field or equivalent.
• Experience in proposal preparation in the CRO/pharma industry.
• Strong MS Office proficiency.
• Analytical, negotiation and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receives and analyzes RFPs from Business Development, ensuring SMEs are assigned and notified.
• Prepares budgets and proposal text responding to RFPs and rebids based on SME feedback.
• Ensures proposal text and budgets align with RFP, client specifications and internal assumptions.
• Obtains third party quotes as needed.
• Manages the proposals process and stage gates from RFP receipt to proposal delivery with limited supervision.
• Coordinates with contracts, finance, and operations to facilitate project initiation.
• Updates proposals in sales management tools and systems regarding status and value.
• Coordinates and participates in project hand-over meetings.
• Learns to present budgets in client formats.
• May provide guidance on process guidelines to internal stakeholders.
