Job summary

Syneos Health in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Corporate FP&A team. You’ll provide centralized financial analysis, partner with leaders, and support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

You will work closely with the Executive Leadership teams, manage variance analysis, and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes while communicating insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Progressive accounting experience, preferably within the CRO or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in working in an internationally oriented organization and knowledgeable in US GAAP.
• Experience working with large ERP systems. Oracle Financial experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously, organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance Manager to provide ongoing financial support/partnership to the assigned corporate functions.
• Partner with accounting, finance and procurement teams on billing initiatives.
• Distribute and assist with the interpretation of key financial reports to cost center owners.
• Build relationships, including influencing and rapport skills.
• Assist with ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
• Perform analysis of expenses ensuring accurate coding, accruals, and resolve discrepancies.
