Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business or health-related field or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of the clinical development process or drug development experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and organizational skills; ability to multitask.
• Excellent oral and written communication; interpersonal and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Receives and analyzes RFPs from Business Development, ensuring SMEs are assigned and notified.
• Prepares and modifies proposal text, budgets, and cover letters responding to RFPs and rebids with SME input.
• Ensures proposal text and budgets align with RFP, client specs and internal assumptions.
• Obtains third party quotes as needed.
• Manages the proposals process and stage gates with limited supervision; mentors as needed.
• Works with contracts, finance, and operations to facilitate project initiation as part of Plan Activation.
• Updates proposals and sales tools regarding proposal or rebid status and value as directed.
• Coordinates and participates in project hand-over meetings.
• Learns to present budgets in client-specific formats.
• May provide guidance on process guidelines to internal constituents as needed.
