Plante Moran seeks a seasoned pursuit strategy and proposal leader to guide multi‑proposal engagements, craft persuasive messages, and manage cross‑functional teams to wins. You'll coordinate with client service professionals, marketing, and design resources to deliver compelling proposals and presentations.

The role emphasizes strong business writing, strategic thinking, and project management in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of increasing responsibility and demonstrable business writing experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, English, Journalism, or other related subject area from an accredited college or university
• Advanced Microsoft Office, Word, and PowerPoint skills
• Literacy with AI use in a professional business environment (CoPilot)
• QorusDocs experience preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Proposal and pursuit strategy management – Lead the pursuit process, from start to finish, by developing sales strategies and writing persuasive messages based on information from research profiles, meetings with client service professionals, meetings with target companies’ staff and management, and knowledge of the firm’s offerings.
• Project management – Serve as the central point of contact and lead project manager for assigned proposals while simultaneously managing multiple proposals and pursuit deliverables.
• Persuasive content creation - Develop and write persuasive messages based on information from pursuit research, customer personas/profiles, buyer journey/buyer group staging, meetings with client service professionals, communications with customer’s staff and management, prior pursuit experiences, and strong knowledge of the firm’s offerings.
• Finalist presentations - Lead and facilitate the pursuit/RFP finalist presentation preparation process to support the win strategy; if a multi-stage process, lead and facilitate all stages until selection is made.
