Job summary

COPT DEFENSE PROPERTIES, LP in Columbia, MD seeks an experienced Property Manager to oversee assigned staff and properties, ensuring quality customer service and operations within the budget. You will maintain assets in good condition and coordinate with tenants, vendors, and construction teams.

Responsibilities include tenant relations, budget preparation, cost controls, lease review, work order oversight, and ensuring safety compliance. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial property management.
• 3+ years of experience supervising multiple direct reports.
• Commercial property management experience preferred.
• Industry certifications (CPM, CP Mgmt, LEED, FMP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenant relations, tenant satisfaction, and services delivery.
• Prepare and submit monthly tenant visit logs and budget reports.
• Maintain communication with tenants to gauge satisfaction and service levels.
• Provide leadership and supervision to property staff and coordinate with vendors.
• Prepare specifications, solicit bids, and approve subcontracts for building services.
• Oversee budgeting, CAM, operating and capital expenditures, and cost controls.
• Ensure safety measures and building systems knowledge are applied.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities between tenants, vendors, and construction teams.
