Job summary

KIPP Capital Region in New York State is seeking a Manager of School Strategy and Projects to support the Chief Schools Officer and the Schools Team. You will coordinate strategic initiatives, plan execution, and manage administrative operations across seven schools in the Albany/Troy area.

The role emphasizes project tracking, reporting, and leadership collaboration, with a focus on equity and anti-racism. Flexible internal processes and travel as needed support regional priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; strong operational and coordination experience required.
• Experience supporting senior leaders or executive teams, preferably in education.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute strategic projects with the CSO and Schools Team.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and owners.
• Prepare agendas, briefings, reports, and executive summaries for leadership.
• Maintain centralized systems for documents, calendars, and resources.
• Track progress and provide regular updates, risk flags, and recommendations.
• Manage CSO’s calendars, travel, meetings, and communications.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with school leaders and regional teams.
• Support annual planning, onboarding, and leadership transitions.
• Ensure confidentiality and professional handling of sensitive information.
• Design standardized processes and templates to improve efficiency.
