Job summary

Penguin Random House is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Strategic Projects, with open remote work options. The role focuses on leading complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning marketing, sales, technology, supply chain, and operations. Strong business analysis and executive communication are essential.

You will drive project charters, develop plans, and coordinate delivery with stakeholders and developers, ensuring successful outcomes and strategic alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management, consulting, or other relevant experience.
• Experience in cross-functional initiatives across multiple lines of business is preferred.
• Experience implementing SAP or other ERP systems.
• Experience implementing other enterprise applications such as Salesforce or Jira.
• Experience in process and technology change and documenting business processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions with business leaders and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, requirements, and deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional teams from across the organization to execute multi-threaded projects.
• Create project plans, work breakdown structures, and communications to keep projects on track.
• Manage rollout, documentation, and handoff of systems and processes to relevant teams.
• Provide ongoing communications and status updates to leaders, stakeholders, and the project portfolio.
• Lead project evaluations, retrospectives, and other assessments of results.
• Leverage Jira, Monday.com, and MS Planner to manage teams and communicate statuses.
