Job summary

Penguin Random House LLC in New York invites a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives across marketing, sales, technology, supply chain and operations. This role offers virtual collaboration with remote flexibility and a hybrid in-office arrangement at 1745 Broadway.

You will own end-to-end project delivery: defining scope, assembling cross-functional teams, creating plans, tracking progress, and presenting results to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management, consulting, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions with business leaders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute multi-threaded projects across functions.
• Create project plans, work breakdown structures, and communications to keep projects on track.
• Manage rollout, documentation, and handoff of systems and processes.
• Provide ongoing status updates to business leaders and portfolio stakeholders.
• Lead project evaluations, retrospectives, and post-implementation assessments.
• Utilize Jira, Monday.com and MS Planner to manage teams and communicate statuses.
