Job summary

Austin Energy is seeking a project analyst to support project management, quality management and business process improvement. The role involves research, data analysis and preparing recommendations for policy and process changes.

You will assist senior consultants, auditors and team leaders, coordinating meetings and maintaining project schedules while working with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year related experience; substitutions allowed for up to 4 years.
• Experience with data analysis, statistics or financial modeling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and close projects across operational and administrative areas.
• Develop and maintain databases to support data analysis for projects.
• Prepare recommendations for policy and process improvements.
• Write reports summarizing findings and options.
• Create project schedules and maintain status reports using planning tools.
• Conduct research, analyze trends and evaluate data relevance and alternatives.
• Facilitate and document meetings and action items with flowcharting.
• Maintain positive relationships with managers, staff and stakeholders.
