Job summary

Interlake Mecalux in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a Logistics Engineer to optimize production and warehouse flows using SAP, EASY WMS and lean methods. You will collaborate with Planning, Production and Purchasing to ensure on-time delivery and efficient material handling.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and is fluent in Spanish, with knowledge of logistics, warehousing and ERP systems. You will monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across five distribution centers.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and control production plans using SAP, coordinating with Planning and Production.
• Create plans for optimal order sequencing to meet shipping dates.
• Ensure material availability by daily communication with production and planning.
• Maintain KPI dashboards for frame assembly and inventory across plants.
• Identify and implement improvements in logistics using SAP, EASY WMS, and Excel.
• Standardize processes with visual management and lean techniques.
