Job summary

PSEG is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic transmission initiatives, coordinating across planning, engineering, real estate, permitting and scheduling. The role ensures budget discipline and timely delivery in alignment with corporate objectives.

The ideal candidate has 6–12 years of utility project management experience, PMP readiness, and strong communication with stakeholders. Hybrid workstyle and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering.
• Minimum 6–12 years in utility engineering, construction, operations or project management.
• Knowledge of inside/outside plant engineering, procurement and construction processes.
• Proven management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• General knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Expected to obtain a PMP certification within 12 months.
• Subject to DOT random drug testing; safety sensitive position.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Compliance with 10 CFR 810.

Responsibilities

• Manage key strategic projects related to PSE&G/Utility initiatives from cradle to grave.
• Identify, prioritize and coordinate implementation efforts for top utility objectives.
• Oversee project budget, schedule and change management reporting.
• Coordinate bid specs and manage contractor and vendor performance.
• Represent PSEG in meetings with regulators and public officials; ensure compliance.
