Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead transmission and distribution project execution in the United States. You will coordinate with internal and external teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships through the full lifecycle.

The role requires 10+ years in the electric utility sector and 7+ years managing Transmission projects, with ABET/EAC-eligible degree. A hybrid work model with relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• BS degree from ABET-accredited engineering or management/business program.
• 10+ years of experience in the electric utility industry.
• 7+ years of experience specifically in Project Management of Utility Transmission projects.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities is critical to success.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution, planning, and resource management.
• Own safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client experience through entire project lifecycle.
• Direct project team; mentor and coach team members.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with client leads and stakeholders.
• Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Report key KPIs for schedule, budget, and other dashboards.
• Identify and control construction risk and changes.
• Communicate with stakeholders and supervisors.
• Prepare reports that clearly present project information.
• Analyze issues and provide solutions to improve results.
