Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead execution of transmission, substation and distribution capital projects. The role requires coordinating with internal and external teams to manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation through closeout.

The successful candidate will drive safety, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction while mentoring project teams in a collaborative, hybrid work environment. A high school diploma is required; a BS is preferred.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Project Management of Utility, Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and capital projects.
• Experience as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role.
• Strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative team player.
• A BS in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own project execution, contracts, planning and resource management.
• Direct project performance across safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client experience.
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
• Mentor and coach project teams and maintain client relations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Identify risks, control changes, and report KPI data for dashboards.
