Job summary

White Cap seeks a motivated procurement professional to support the sales team with project quotes, product research and order fulfillment for quoted projects.

The role oversees bidding, pricing, sourcing, and vendor negotiations to deliver best-value solutions. Candidates should have 5+ years in related fields and experience reading plans/drawings to prepare quotes and technical specs.

Qualifications

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a related field or 3–5 years with MS/MA.
Experience negotiating with vendors to obtain best value.
Ability to analyze plans/drawings for quotes and product specs.
Familiarity with contract requirements and project schedules.

Responsibilities

Supports sales with project quotes, product research and order fulfillment on quoted projects.
Oversees bidding, pricing, product sourcing, and vendor negotiations for the sales team.
Analyzes plans/drawings to determine offerings and prepares quotes and technical specs.
Ensures compliance with customer construction schedules and contract terms.
Manages inventory needs, shipments, QA procedures and customer requirements for orders.
Provides daily business metrics reporting and maintains contract price files.
Follows up on orders, deliveries and product inventories; performs other duties as assigned.
