Job summary

White Cap seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver projects within defined scopes, schedules, and budgets. You will assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, develop schedules, and secure needed resources.

You will drive multiple projects from inception to completion, coordinate with stakeholders, report progress, manage risks, and maintain comprehensive documentation to support executive decisions.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Owns and drives multiple projects from inception through completion. Reviews and manages project business cases to identify cost and labor needs and presents projects to senior management for approval.
• Defines integration needs with other projects, systems, and business processes.
• Provides project status reports and communications to internal stakeholders. Interfaces with senior management on statuses and related issues.
• Reviews functional project plans and schedules for compliance with master project schedules. Resolves scheduling and inter-functional conflicts.
• Leads daily, weekly, or monthly project status meetings. Reviews, tracks, and reports on project tasks and identifies deviations or adverse trends.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
• Measures project performance and risks using systems, tools, and other techniques.
